Set in the context of 21st century global challenges, reviewing and adapting the knowledge of Andean High Culture takes on increasing significance for two pressing reasons. Firstly, that pre-Columbian America existed at all. It was, in fact, a huge integrated territory in which a fluid and ongoing interchange of trade, science and religion prevailed. And secondly, several questions posed then are current challenges in this global age.
